$400* + Chemicals and Antifreeze
Please have your pool drained to just below the return jets. There will be an additional $200 per hour fee (with a 1 hour minimum) if we have to drain your pool. After pool closing is performed, vinyl liner and fiberglass pool owners need to fill the water level up to approximately 4”-6” below the skimmer to prevent hydrostatic pressure damage.
Closing Includes:
Removal of rails & ladders.
Blow out lines, skimmers, and main drains.
Plugging lines.
Adding antifreeze, shock, & algaecide. (Price not included in closing rates. Price depends on size of pool. We will provide these at current in-store pricing.)
Draining and winterizing pump, filter, heater, and chlorinator.
Installation of pool cover.
*This price includes trip charges and labor for 1 hour. Additional labor rate is $200 per hour for anything after that.
Safety cover anchors that are stuck will have to be removed and replaced. This may require a separate service tech sent to your home after the closing has been completed. The labor rates are $50 per ½ hour for this service.
If you need us to clean your D.E. Or Cartridge filter, please request this when scheduling. There is a $50 fee.
Scheduling:
Mon-South County, Tues-West County, Wed-Mid County, Thurs-St. Charles County, Fri-North County
Things to Remember:
Bring in a 16 oz. water sample to the store for testing the week of your pool closing to ensure proper water balance.
If equipment needs servicing, an appointment will be made as soon as possible. NO repairs will be made during pool closing.
